There once was a time
when the light in your eyes
was greater then that of the sun,
But over the years
and through all the tears,
some how we lost sight of the fun.
I don’t know when
it all began
or even when it will end,
All that I know
with truth from my soul
is that I love you my dearest friend.
The love that we shared
palled all others compared,
this I know as a fact,
The other I know
is I love you from head to toe,
regardless of how you may act.
You are now
and always will be
my dearest and best of friend,
